In late 2019 Twitter approached Ueno with the task of creating a unified vision for a more streamlined, extensible, and joyful Twitter revenue experience that aligns and excites the organization to move toward a $10B durable business. A seamless revenue platform for everyone that inspires healthy conversation and unlocks the power of Twitter from day 1 and every day after.
This workstream required bluesky thinking baked into reality. We worked hand in hand with Twitter executives, key stakeholders, and core product teams to ensure our partnership pushed the product in a truly innovative, but feasible, direction.
Shortly after the project completed the world came to a standstill. Lockdowns took effect and the importance of Twitter’s platform became even clearer. We continued working with Twitter across several other vision projects that inevitably ended with acquisition of Ueno and in February 2021, we all became Tweeps.
Since then I’ve had the opportunity to work across nearly every surface of the platform ranging from ways customers discover, engage, and connect with each other to implementing a new motion design language from the ground up.
